El Instituto recibe a Fatemeh Mohammadi
Fatemeh Mohammadi is a lecturer in Pure Mathematics in the School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol since 2017. Her research interests lie in the intersection of Commutative Algebra, Algebraic Geometry and Combinatorics. In recent projects, she studies toric degenerations of Grassmannians, flag varieties and Schubert varieties using tools from tropical geometry, representation theory, and cluster algebras. Additionally, she works on applications to graphical models and system reliability theory.
Prior to joining the University of Bristol, she was an Einstein fellow in TU Berlin. Before that, she used to be a postdoctoral researcher at IST Austria and MSRI, Berkeley and an Alexander von Humboldt research fellow at the Phillipps University Marburg and Osnabrück University. She was also a member of Bernd Sturmfels' Nonlinear Algebra group at TU Berlin.
Es invitada de la Dra. Lara Bossinger para trabajar de manera conjunta con el Dr. Alfredo Nájera Chávez, en un proyecto sobre degeneraciones Groebner de Grassmannianas y coeficientes universales de álgebras conglomeradas.
