Morse actions on symmetric spaces

Among discrete groups of isometries acting on hyperbolic space, convex cocompact Kleinian groups play an important role. I aim to discuss which properties of those groups can be generalized to higher rank symmetric spaces (mainly the ones involving coarse geometry). This leads to the notion of Morse action, that is equivalent to beeing the image of an Anosov representation, introduced by Labourie, Guichard and Wienhard. No knowledge of higher rank symmetric spaces will be assumed. This is joint work with M. Kapovich and B. Leeb.
